These precious little hand and footprints* belong to baby Isaac Joe Wilkinson, who was born sleeping on the 23rd of June 2017.
On the 2nd of September, Isaac Joe's family and friends held a fundraising event at the Dickie Bird in Keighley. The night featured local live bands along with a raffle and tombola. £2000 was raised in Isaac Joe's honour, which his parents Laura and Joe split equally and donated to both Aidan's Elephants and The Sunbeam Support Group.
"The Memory Box has given us something of our son we never thought we would have had. It takes pride of place in our living room and we open it often. From the moment we saw the Memory Box we said how beautiful it was, and knew we wanted to help others who sadly need the boxes. After coming home from the hospital we wanted to occupy ourselves, so we got stuck in with organising the charity event. The evening was truly amazing and we felt some sense of achievement for Isaac Joe."
The £1000 we have received in Isaac Joe's memory will pay for approximately 38 grieving families to receive an Aidan's Elephants Memory Box, giving each family the opportunity to create precious memories with their little one before they sadly say goodbye. Isaac Joe's family and friends - we can not thank you enough for all your support. You have already achieved so much for your beautiful boy, and he has a legacy that will help many other families who sadly walk in your shoes.

Well done, and a HUGE thank you to ten year old Evie Eccles, who conquered her Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge on Saturday the 20th May. Evie walked up the three peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, in an incredible 11 hours and 40 minutes. Evie's hard work and determination has raised over £800 for Aidan's Elephants in honour of her baby cousin Jack. Her Auntie Nicola Croden, who joined Evie on the challenge (along with her Dad, Matt Eccles and baby Jack's Dad, Rich Croden) has also raised over £100 in donations for Aidan's Elephants
Evie's Mum, Jo Eccles says:
"Evie helped her dad who struggled with his knees, and her Auntie who had just had enough. She kept them all going. Due to her Dad being in agonising pain, Evie's fab Uncle Richard took Evie to the finish line under the 12 hours that she had to beat. From what they tell me she was a super star and only complained once. You can see the pictures of her smiling in the heavy rain we walked through. I am super proud of her, as she is of herself."
Evie's 3 Peaks Challenge has been covered by the Keighley news.
What a superstar! Thank you so much, Evie. We are so proud of you, and hope you are very, very proud of yourself! What a huge achievement you have made, and what a beautiful thing you have done in your cousin Jack's memory. We can't thank you and your family enough for all your support.
"I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has generously sponsored me and supported me on doing the 3 peaks challenge for Aidan's Elephants"
Ten year old Evie is doing the three Yorkshire Peaks on the 20th of May, in memory of her baby cousin, Jack Croden, who was sadly born sleeping on the 27th of March 2017. Evie will be joined on the three peaks by her Dad, Matt, along with her Auntie Nicola and baby Jack's Dad Rich. She is fundraising for Aidan's Elephants, as Jack's family received one of our Memory Boxes.
To sponsor Evie, please email her Mum, Jo.
You can also make a donation directly to Aidan's Elephants here. Please email Jo (Evie's Mum) if you make a donation, so she can keep a running total of how much Evie has raised.
Thank you so much for your support, Evie. Good luck with your fundraising event!
