It can be very difficult to know where to turn for help, advice and support when your baby has died.
The main aim of our website is to provide parents who have lost a baby with easily accessible information and resources, so that they are able to make informed decisions and feel supported during what can be a very lonely time.
The 'Support' section of our website contains guidance for navigating some of the most difficult decisions that have to be made when a baby dies - such as how to plan a funeral and how to register a baby's birth and death. You can also find details of local and online resources, recommended books and websites that can provide you with support.
Our Social Media pages (on Twitterand Facebook) can provide you with community support, where you can meet and talk to other parents and families who have experienced the loss of their a baby or young child. If you feel ready to talk to people in person, the Sunbeam Support Group can offer you the friendship and support of local families who have lost a child.
If you would like to get in touch with us, you can send us an email. We can not provide counselling services, but we can provide a friendly ear and help you to find the support network that is right for you.
If you want to talk to us about your baby, we will always listen.
